Larsen & Toubro said its construction arm has bagged new orders worth Rs 20.50 billion across various business segments in August and September 2014. The power transmission & distribution business has bagged international and domestic orders worth Rs 12.13 billion.
While the building & factories business has bagged orders worth Rs 7.75 billion which consist of two new orders and a few additional orders from on-going jobs, the company said.
L&T is a major Indian multinational in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial operations.
Shares of the company declined Rs 20.7, or 1.31%, to trade at Rs 1,558.15. The total volume of shares traded was 89,658 at the BSE (3.44 p.m., Monday).
