Bajaj Electricals shares gained on Monday after the company announced the engineering & project business unit of the company has bagged 8 new orders worth Rs 5.18 billion for rural electrification work in Jabalpur.
In Jabalpur district from Madhya Pradesh Purva Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company and in Bhopal District from Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Company, under Rajiv Gandhi Gram Vikas Yojana.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 289.80, up Rs 12.5, or 4.51% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 9:40 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 296.10 and low of Rs 287. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 115,141.
