Dollar-rupee futures gain 24 paise at 61.11

Dollar-rupee futures strengthened on Wednesday against US dollar. USDINR September contract moved up 24 paise or 0.39% at 61.11 as against previous close of 60.87.

The most active September contract touched a high of 61.135 and a low of 61.01 after opening at 61.01.

A total of 0.22 million contracts were traded till 09:46 pm. Turnover for September contract was at Rs 13.70 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.47 million
