Carborundum Universal, a manufacturers of abrasives, ceramics in India, said that the company has allotted 1,000 shares of Re1 each arising out of the exercise of stock options, granted to the option grantees of the Company under the employees stock option scheme (ESOS) 2007.

With this allotment the number of equity shares outstanding is 187,898,208 and the paid-up equity share capital is Rs187, 898,208.

Shares of the company declined Rs 1.15, or 0.58%, to settle at Rs 198.60. The total volume of shares traded was 51,470 at the BSE (Tuesday).
