GTL Infrastructure clarified on media report titled ''Aircel Looks to Buy Back Towers from GTL Infra''.
"We wish to clarify that the news item is highly speculative in nature and the Company denies the contents of the said article. The company is not in possession of any material price sensitive information that has not been announced as required under clause 36 of listing agreement which may have a bearing on the share price.
Kindly note that the company adheres to the best corporate governance practices and accordingly have been submitting all material price sensitive information to the exchanges in the past. In accordance with the listing agreement, the company will continue to submit any material price sensitive information in future," the company said.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.12, or 4.71%, to settle at Rs 2.67. The total volume of shares traded was 947,415 at the BSE (Friday).
