Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured new orders worth Rs 6.60 billion.

The company received first order for supply, erection and commissioning of 765KV S/C portion of Mainpuri-Bara transmission line of 192 km worth over Rs 1.59 billion from ICI-C&C Mainpuri JV (ISOLUX).

It has bagged second order for Turnkey construction of Thumbli water pipeline project worth Rs 1.52 billion from Cairn India.

It has received another order worth Rs 1.33 billion for pipeline replacement project for KG Basin from GAIL India.

It has secured several other contracts worth over Rs 2.16 billion in transmission segment.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.05, or 1.22%, to trade at Rs 169.95. The total volume of shares traded was 97,638 at the BSE (11.31 a.m., Friday).
