Wipro, one of the leading software exporters, today announced that it has secured a contract from Philip Morris International (PMI), an international tobacco company. As a part of the five years agreement, Wipro will provide a full suite of IT infrastructure management services to PMI.
The IT infrastructure services will support a host of functions at PMI including management and support of its servers, storage, backup and applications infrastructure.

We aim to foster a successful partnership with PMI and deliver the IT innovation that will support their business needs, '' said Srini Pallia, chief executive, retain, consumer goods and transportation & govt (RCTG) business unit, Wipro.
Shares of the company gained Rs 4.85, or 0.84%, to trade at Rs 581.45. The total volume of shares traded was 27,160 at the BSE (9.48 a.m., Friday).
