HCL Technologies, one of the leading software exporters, shares gained on Wednesday after it announced that it has been selected by Sydney Trains as a strategic partner to provide bespoke systems support services.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 1,664.60, up Rs 20.7, or 1.26% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 12:55 p.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,672 and low of Rs 1,645.10. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 40,285.
