Hero Motocorp said that the company has appointed Sanjay Jorapur as chief human resource officer, to take complete charge of the company's HR function across its operation in India and global markets.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Sep. 01, 2014, falling 3.58% compared with the Sensex's 5.44% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 0.10% as against 10.94% rise in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 23.85, or 0.86%, to trade at Rs 2,783.10. The total volume of shares traded was 55,982 at the BSE (3.30 p.m., Tuesday).
