Agri-commodity prices settled sharply lower in domestic futures market on Monday. NCDEX Dhaanya, an index of 10 most liquid commodity futures settlement down 1.59% to trade at 2,517.87.
Castor Seed 1 MT futures dropped the most with the fall of 4 percent, followed by Castor Seed (3.98 percent), Cotton Seed Oilcake (3.48 percent), Jeera (1.7 percent) and Ref Soya Oil (1.65 percent) at the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX).
On the other hand, Chana futures gained the most with the rise of 0.56 percent followed by Chana 1 MT (0.42 percent), Chilli Teja (0.19 percent), Light Sweet Crude Oil (0.14 percent) at the NCDEX.
