AXIS Bank announced allotment of 1,68,185 equity shares of Rs 2 each pursuant to exercise of options under its ESOP Scheme.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Sep. 01, 2014, falling 17.21% compared with the Sensex's 5.44% rise.

It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 3.99% as against 10.94% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 8.1, or 2.04%, to settle at Rs 405.40. The total volume of shares traded was 366,562 at the BSE (Monday).
