Sasken Communication Technologies announced that the company has alloted 19,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each to employees under ESOP Scheme 2006.

Shares of the company gained Rs 5.4, or 1.78%, to settle at Rs 308.30. The total volume of shares traded was 122,219 at the BSE (Monday).

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Aug. 28, 2014, falling 4.21% compared with the Sensex's 2.49% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 12.36% as against 8.48% rise in the Sensex.
