Eicher Motors announced total motorcycle sales of 26,643 units in August 2014 as compared to 16,062 units in August 2013, representing a growth of 66%.
 
For the period January-August 2014, the company recorded total motorcycle sales of 192,356 units compared to 106,013 units in the corresponding period a year ago, representing a growth of 81%.

Shares of the company gained Rs 325.75, or 3.34%, to trade at Rs 10,077.35. The total volume of shares traded was 5,429 at the BSE (2.06 p.m., Monday).
