Bajaj Electricals bags orders worth Rs 6.02 bn

Bajaj Electricals, a consumer electrical equipments manufacturing company based in Mumbai, announced that the Engineering & Project Business Unit of the Company has bagged four new orders for Transmission Lines in Tamil Nadu & West Bengal from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) & West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company respectively,  aggregating to Rs 6.02 billion.

The company has got rural electrification work at Bihar from North Bihar Power Distribution Company & South Bihar Power Distribution Cimpany respectively.

Shares of the company gained Rs 10.5, or 3.7%, to trade at Rs 294.65. The total volume of shares traded was 36,889 at the BSE (11.05 a.m., Monday).
