Singapore's Straits Times declined 3.55 points or 0.11 percent to trade at 3,326.67. The index has registered a high of 3,334.96 and a low of 3,321.32 after opening at 3,334.96 (12:57am EST).

South Korea's KOSPI lost 2.73 points or 0.13 percent to trade at 2,073.03. The index has witnessed a high of 2,073.03 and a low of 2,060.14 after opening at 2,070.73 (01:17am EST).

Taiwan's TAIEX declined 19.11 points or 0.2 percent to trade at 9,459.26. The index has registered a high of 9,470.15 and a low of 9,425.35 after opening at 9,459.81 (12:57am EST).
