European stock markets are trading lower on Thursday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 8.16 points or 0.26 percent to trade at 3,186.29.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 14.32 points or 0.21 percent to trade at 6,816.34.

Germany's benchmark index DAX fell 50.10 points or 0.52 percent to trade at 9,519.61.

Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 6.87 points or 0.16 percent to trade at 4,388.39.
