Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals said Wednesday the company has successfully commissioned Petro Fluidized Catalytie Cracking (PFCC) Unit under Phase-III project. It said products are being routed to respective destinations.

This will increase LPG, light distillates and production of Propylene which is a feed for Polypropylene Unit.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.3, or 0.49%, to trade at Rs 61.05. The total volume of shares traded was 96,636 at the BSE (1.52 p.m., Wednesday).

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Aug. 26, 2014, falling 16.30% compared with the Sensex's 1.21% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 26.13% as against 6.98% rise in the Sensex.
