Indian equities are trading on positive note on Friday. Banking and realty stocks witnessed a gain whereas realty stocks registered a fall.

At 11.20 a.m., the Sensex was trading up 130.56 points or 0.50% at 26,490.67 with 19 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 35.25 points or 0.45% at 7,926.35 with 32 components gaining.

Top gainers were SBI (2.92%), Hindalco (2.50%), ONGC (1.29%) and Axis Bank (1.27%).

Major losers were Sun Pharma (1.16%), HDFC (0.93%), Coal India (0.86%) and Dr Reddy's Laboratories (0.76%).

The Bankex index was at 18,149.41, up by 233.91 points or by 1.31%. The Oil & Gas index was at 11,192.26, up by 103.62 points or by 0.93%.

On the other hand, the Realty index was at 1,829.10, down by 8.42 points or by 0.46%.
