Godrej plans Rs 4 bn manufacturing plant in AP

Godrej Company Limited has indicated its interest to set up a manufacturing unit in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs 4 billion. The company proposes to
manufacture medicinal oils, pesticides and soaps and related inputs at the proposed plant.

SpiceJet to raise authorised share capital by Rs 5 bn

The board of budget airline SpiceJet has decided to raise its authorised share capital by Rs 5 billion. According to an announcement on Thursday, SpiceJet will increase the authorised share capital from Rs 10 billion (divided into 1 billion equity shares of ₹10 each) to Rs 15 billion (divided into 1.5 billion equity shares of Rs 10 each).

Tata Power to supply modules for ACME project

Tata Power Solar said it would be supplying the entire module requirement for a 20-MW project to be built by ACME Solar. ACME Solar, during the national solar mission bidding process last year, won projects totalling 100 MW. Of this, 20 MW, under the domestic content requirement policy of the Renewable Energy Ministry (MNRE), should be built using cells and modules manufactured domestically.
