''USDINR may trade in the positive terrain as the Federal Reserve's July policy meeting signaled the potential for an earlier-than-expected hike in interest rates,'' said Sushil Finance.

'The Indian rupee rose to a near three-week high against the dollar on Wednesday on the back of strong foreign investor buying in the debt market, although greenback demand from importers and a fall in shares limited further gains.''

Indian rupee has depreciated on Thursday against US dollar. Indian currency declined 3 paise or 0.05% against dollar to trade at 60.65. Rupee has witnessed a high of 60.64 and a low of 60.74. Its 52-week range was 58.34-68.84. The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, gained 0.16% to trade at 82.35.
