Rupee appreciates 6 paise against dollar to settle at 60.62

Indian rupee has appreciated on Wednesday against US dollar. Indian currency gained 6 paise or 0.10% against dollar to settle at 60.62.

Rupee has witnessed a high of 60.52 and a low of 60.88. Its 52-week range was 58.34-68.84.

The Dollar index, a measure of the value of the US dollar relative to a basket of foreign currencies, gained 0.22% to settle at 82.06.
