Eros International Media shares surged on Wednesday after the company has announced that its on-demand entertainment portal ErosNow has acquired the worldwide rights of popular Zee TV shows.
With this announcement, content from ZEE will be available to memebers with no extra subscription costs.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 248.50, up Rs 21.3, or 9.38% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 9:33 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 249.80 and low of Rs 234. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 66,586.
