Tata Motors shares jump on JLR July sales

 Tata Motors shares jumped on Monday after the company registered a 12.24% rise in Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) sales for July. JLR has sold 39467 units in July compared with 35,162 units in the same period last year.
 However, the group global wholesales declined 8.47% in July 2014. Sales volume stood at 80,151 units in July as compared with 87,566 units for the same period in the previous year.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 499.10, up Rs 14.5, or 2.99% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:48 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 501.35 and low of Rs 488.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 272,715.
