Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company disclosed a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 23.60% to Rs 55.63 million from Rs 72.82 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 54.97% to Rs 3,164.70 million, compared with Rs 7,027.52 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.08, registering 20.00% decline over previous year period.
