Sandu Pharmaceuticals announced a decline in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 2.39% to Rs 1.10 million from Rs 1.13 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 9.67% to Rs 82.70 million, compared with Rs 75 million for the prior year period. 'Sandu' is an ISO 9001:2000 certified group of companies specializing in manufacture and marketing of Ayurvedic medicines and is blessed with a rich heritage of more than 100 years. Recently on Jun. 02, 2014 the company announced that chief finance officer Prasanna S Bhatkar, has tendered his resignation. His resignation has been duly accepted by the company board. He will he relieved from the company services after the completion of due process and formalities.
