Dishman Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals said a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 17.62 times to Rs 15.77 million from Rs 0.90 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 0.07% to Rs 899.84 million, compared with Rs 900.46 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.20, registering 20.00 times growth over previous year period.
