Axis Bank, private sector bank in India, announced that the bank has allotted 3,84,297 equity shares of Rs 2 each pursuant to exercise of options under its ESOP Scheme.

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from Rs. 471,55,27,850 (235,77,63,925 equity shares of Rs 2 each) to Rs 471,62,96,444 (235,81,48,222 equity shares of Rs 2 each).

Shares of the bank declined Rs 5.6, or 1.47%, to trade at Rs 376. The total volume of shares traded was 105,688 at the BSE (11.57 a.m., Wednesday).
