Bhushan Steel swung to a loss for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 1,416.30 million compared with a profit of Rs 762.60 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 12.48% to Rs 28,016.80 million, compared with Rs 24,909 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share stood negative at Rs 6.37 compared with Rs 3.31 in same quarter last year.
