Tata Power Company announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 28.30% to Rs 2,559.60 million from Rs 3,570 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 10.70% to Rs 23,284.50 million, compared with Rs 26,075.10 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 0.86, registering 32.28% decline over previous year period.
