Hindustan Unilever has clarified on Tuesday the company has decided to reorganize the home and personal care business into two separate businesses i.e. home care and personal care businesses, to ensure focus on the growth drivers for each of these businesses.

"We would like to clarify that this is an internal restructuring within HUL and does not involve any demerger, hiving off or any other similar corporate action," the company said.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.2, or 0.03%, to trade at Rs 696.40. The total volume of shares traded was 27,299 at the BSE (1.16 p.m., Tuesday).
