Indraprastha Gas said a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 30.20% to Rs 1,140.30 million from Rs 875.80 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined marginally 3.55% to Rs 8,687.30 million, compared with Rs 9,006.60 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 8.15, registering 30.19% growth over previous year period.
