Dabur India launched Real Activ range with coconut water in Tetra Brik Aseptic (TBA) 200ml paper-based cartons.

Real Activ Tender coconut water is rich in minerals, 100% natural with no added sugar and preservatives. With innumerable health benefits that coconut water offers such as increase in immunity, improvement in blood circulation, relief in constipation, heart burn and slow digestion, it makes for an ideal drink for people of all-age groups, especially pregnant women. The new Tetra Pak packaging gives consumers the comfort of enjoying coconut water all year round and not just in summers, the company said.

The beverage is aseptically packaged in 6-layer tamper-evident Tetra Pak packaging, which protects it from oxygen, light and bacterial spoilage and gives it a longer shelf life without the need for preservatives. The sleek package offers convenience, safety, hygiene, easy handling and easy disposal after use. Being paper-based, the packages are 100% recyclable and can be recycled into several useful products such as stationery and furniture, it added.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.70, or 0.35%, to trade at Rs 203 at the BSE (1.13 p.m).
