Call rate rises 22 bps to 8.11%

Call money weighted average rate (WAR) went up 22 basis points to 8.11% compared with 7.89% on last trading day. As at 10.16 am, call rate was 8.15% after touching high of 8.15% and low of 8%. It opened at 8.15%. Turnover of the call market stood at Rs 71.24 billion compared with Rs 121.33 billion on previous day.

CBLO (collaterized borrowing and lending obligation) decreased 3 basis points to 8.06% compared with 8.09% on last trading day. CBLO was last traded at 8.05% after touching high of 8.15% and low of 7.98%. It opened at 8.10%. CBLO turnover stood at Rs 185 billion compared with Rs 750.15 billion.

WAR Market repo came at 8.09%. Market repo was touching high of 8.45% and low of 7.85%. It opened at 8%. Turnover for market repo stood came at Rs 242.68 billion.
