Excel Crop Care announced a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 69.03% to Rs 331.75 million from Rs 196.27 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 26.23% to Rs 3,285.19 million, compared with Rs 2,603 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 30.14, registering 69.04% growth over previous year period.
