Bannari Amman Sugars said a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 76.29% to Rs 22.21 million from Rs 93.67 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter surged 78.77% to Rs 2,300.71 million, compared with Rs 1,287 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.94, registering 76.31% decline over previous year period.
