HDFC Bank said that the bank has allotted 20,70,655 equity shares to the employees of the bank pursuant to exercise of options under its Employees Stock Options Schemes (ESOS).

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly increase from Rs 4,817,767,700 equity shares of Rs 2 each to Rs 4821909010 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 3.8, or 0.46%, to trade at Rs 833.55. The total volume of shares traded was 17,170 at the BSE (11.36 a.m., Wednesday).
