Eveready Industries (India) disclosed a sharp rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 2.57 times to Rs 106.03 million from Rs 41.24 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 15.72% to Rs 3,235.76 million, compared with Rs 2,796 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 1.46, registering 2.56 times growth over previous year period.
