European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday.

Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 7.01 points or 0.22 percent to trade at 3,196.23.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 9.01 points or 0.13 percent to trade at 6,804.35.

Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 40.79 points or 0.42 percent to trade at 9,775.12.

Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 13.40 points or 0.31 percent to trade at 4,382.92.
