Govt undertakes development of 35 non-metro airports

The government has undertaken the development of 35 non-metro airports in the country, said  GM Siddeshwara, Minister of state for civil aviation.

The development of non-metro airports was taken up on the recommendations of the Task Force and keeping in view the potential for traffic, tourism, business etc.  All the 35 non-metro airports are operational, he added.
