Indoco Remedies spurts 14% after USFDA approves Goa plants

Indoco Remedies shares surged on Tuesday after the company gets USFDA approval for its Goa plants.  The company announced that based on the inspection carried out by the USFDA in August 2013, the company has received Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) approving the company's sterile manufacturing facility (Plant II) and solid dosage manufacturing facility (Plant III) located in Verna, Goa.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs 187.60, up Rs 23.05, or 14.01% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 10:18 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 197 and low of Rs 178. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 160,014.
