Bharti Infratel announced that the committee of directors has approved allotment of 56,057 equity shares of Rs 10 each to the employees of the company on exercise of stock options under employees stock option plan 2008 (ESOP Scheme 2008).

Consequent to such allotment, the issued, subscribed and paid-up share capital of the company has increased from Rs 18,900,400,090 to Rs 18,900,960,660.

Shares of the company declined Rs 4.25, or 1.61%, to settle at Rs 260.05. The total volume of shares traded was 8,044 at the BSE (Monday).
