Ahluwalia Contracts (India), engaged in construction business, announced on Tuesday it has secured new orders aggregating to Rs 6.14 billion. The orders are for construction of institutional, commercial building, including electrical plumbing and fire fighting services.
The company bagged new order worth Rs 3.36 billion for construction work for Police Head Quarter at Patna (Bihar).
It has secured order worth Rs 2.02 billion for construction of infrastructure work of head office Punjab National Bank.
In addition, it received order worth Rs 634.5 million for civil works for proposed commercial cum Rehab building, fashion index, Dadar, Mumbai and other Civil work worth of Rs 125 million for sky suites project at Mumbai.
Shares of the company gained Rs 9.92, or 11.25%, to trade at Rs 124.65 at the BSE (12.42 p.m., Thursday).
