Zydus Wellness announced a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 24.96% to Rs 170.50 million from Rs 227.20 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 8.05% to Rs 425.80 million, compared with Rs 463.10 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.36, registering 25.09% decline over previous year period.
