Techno Electric bags orders worth Rs 3 bn

Techno Electric and Engineering Company (TEECL), provider of engineering, procurement and construction services, has secured new orders worth over Rs 3 billion.

The first order is for balance of plant work from Mitsubishi Heavy Chemicals, Haldia for Rs 900 million (0.9 billion). The second order is for 765/400 kv sub-station extension package at Raigarh (Tamnar) from PGCIL for Rs 750 million (0.75 billion).

The third order is for 220/132/33 kv grid sub-stations at Mushairi & Kishanganj from Bihar State power transmission Co for Rs 1.5 billion.

TEECL continues to maintain order inflow from PGCIL, NTPC, reputed utilities and international market in Africa region.

Shares of the company declined Rs 11.10, or 3.87%, to trade at Rs 276.05. The total volume of shares traded was 24,528 at the BSE (1.31 p.m., Wednesday).
