Gold and Silver closed futures moved in opposite direction in futures market on Tuesday.

Gold futures declined 0.50 dollar or 0.04 percent to close at USD 1,316.00 per troy ounce at the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Silver futures went up 0.001 dollar or 0 percent to close at USD 20.97 per troy ounce at the COMEX.
