Zensar Technologies, an IT and BPO services provider, said that on exercise of stock option by employees of the company, the nomination and remuneration committee of the directors has allotted fully paid up 25,850 equity shares of Rs 10 each of the company to its employees.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Jul. 04, 2014, rising 2.65% compared with the Sensex's 4.66% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 4.11% as against 16.11% rise in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 21.2, or 7.73%, to settle at Rs 469.65 at the BSE (Monday).
