Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have raised shareholding in Hindustan Unilever (HUL), a leading consumer goods company.
FIIs shareholding increased 48 basis points to 14.58% at the end of June 2014 quarter from 14.10% as on Mar. 31, 2014.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors' (DIIs) shareholding went down to 4.09% at the end of June 2014 quarter from 4.12% as on Mar. 31, 2014.
Under DIIs, insurance companies held maximum stake of 3.64%, followed by Financial institutions / banks (0.24% stake) and mutual funds / UTI (0.21% stake).
Shares of the company declined Rs 3.70, or 0.59%, to trade at Rs 620.65 at the BSE (1.19 p.m., Monday).
