HDFC Bank has allotted 11,87,595 equity shares to the employees of the bank pursuant to exercise of options under its Employees Stock Options Schemes (ESOS).

The paid up share capital of the bank will accordingly increase from Rs 4,815,392,510 equity shares of Rs 2 each to Rs 4,817,767,700 equity shares of Rs 2 each.

Shares of the bank gained Rs 5.05, or 0.60%, to trade at Rs 842.25 at the BSE (12.06 p.m., Friday).
