Videocon Industries, a large diversified Indian company headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, jumped on Friday after media reports quoted that the company' satellite TV arm Videocon d2h is likely to go ahead with its proposed initial public offer (IPO) this financial year.

Shares of the company are trading at Rs 199.10, up Rs 13.10, or 7.04% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 11:26 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 203.50 and low of Rs 189.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 494,448.

In the earlier session, the shares lost 2.64%, or Rs 5.05, at Rs 186.05. Currently, the stock is trading down 5.71% from its 52-week high of Rs 211.05 and above 30.07% over the 52-week low of Rs 153.
