Siemens shares went up on Friday after the company has sold the land parcel in Bangalore to Prestige City Properties as part of its asset optimization exercise.

The proceeds of the sale is approximately Rs 3.45 billion, it said.

Shares of Siemens are trading at Rs 996.00, up Rs 7.65, or 0.77% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 10:07 a.m.

The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,010 and low of Rs 992.50. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 18,969.
